I create engaging social media content that brings fans closer to the team, both on and off the field. From game-day coverage and player features to promotional campaigns, trends, and community initiatives, I develop content with each platform and audience in mind. My experience includes planning concepts, creating graphics and video, writing copy, and managing content from idea to final post.
When creating social media graphics for the Brantford Red Sox, I wanted the content to feel recognizable as part of the same brand without every post looking the same. I regularly used bold reds, navy blues and white to connect the graphics back to the team’s colours, along with large typography and strong player imagery designed to quickly grab attention while scrolling.
I also adjusted the visual style depending on the type of content. Game-day and player-focused graphics use stronger contrast, action photography and bold type to create a more competitive, high-energy feel. For recurring content such as Question of the Day, I kept the design simple and recognizable so the focus remained on the fun, personality-driven video content.
For theme games and special events, I had more freedom to bring personality into the designs while still incorporating Red Sox branding. For example, the Country Day graphic uses a vintage western wanted-poster style, while Bark in the Park uses brighter colours, playful typography, paw prints and dog imagery to create a lighter, family-friendly feel. These graphics were designed to make each theme immediately recognizable and help fans understand that attending a Red Sox game is about more than just baseball.
Overall, my goal was to create a social presence that felt energetic, approachable and varied, while maintaining enough consistency in colour, imagery and branding for fans to immediately recognize the content as Brantford Red Sox.
